1971 Blue Convertible
Sales rebounded from the previous year's short production cycle, despite the lowering of engine compression ratios to compensate for low lead fuels. Fortunately, the 454 LS6 engine still produced a respectable 425 horsepower.

FIBERGLASS FACT: 1971 was the last year for fiber optic warning lights, first introduced in 1968.
